CASC provides Transportation Services to residents of Staten Island that are 60 years of age or older. (Cab service for shopping and medical appointments are available.)

CASC transportation service provides opportunities for eligible Staten Island residents to access Neighborhood Senior Centers, community shopping centers and banking (limited to specific routes). This process begins with a phone call to the transportation department where a phone intake is completed and the senior is added to a fixed route, throughout Staten Island, to assist the senior to remain active in the community.

Medical Appointments

CASC provides free transportation services for essential medical appointments on Staten Island for eligible seniors. Car service to appointments is available to seniors 60 years or older, not receiving Medicaid (which provides this service) and not receiving Access-A-Ride. There are a limited number of medical transportation rides available daily and advanced notice is required to reserve a ride. There is a suggested donation of $1 each way.
